Media coverage on new $800 billion 'stimulus' package

Going through my round of newspaper reading this morning I learnt about the new $800B 'stimulus' package in La Jornada, a Mexican newspaper.

When I wanted to learn more, I found surprising that the news have not been as widely reported as I'd expected. Considering all the drama than went when the initial rescue package in October, this time it was so easy.

I guess it has to do with not wanting to scare people from buying on the Thanksgiving weekend

Here are some screen shots of the main pages of some newspapers sites taken this morning at 6:30ish PST:

The New York Times

The New York Times has a very good article on the issue, but not worthy of the main headlines.

The Washington Post:

No mention to the fact we are taking about $800 billion...

The Wall Street Journal:

The Guardian:
